About Us

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (CCCSL) was established in 2005 under the guidance and support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka and its Economic and Commercial Office.

CCCSL operates on a corporate membership basis, with Chinese enterprises investing and operating in Sri Lanka as its core members. At present, it brings together nearly 50 member companies, including central state-owned enterprises, local state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises.

Our member companies are engaged in a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure development, port operations and logistics, urban integrated development and real estate investment, engineering contracting, power and renewable energy, digital economy and information services, green energy and environmental protection industries, financial services, manufacturing investment, and import & export trade. These sectors cover many of the key industries driving Sri Lanka’s economic development.

CCCSL is committed to promoting coordinated development among Chinese enterprises in Sri Lanka and building a platform for communication, cooperation, and resource sharing. Through strengthened information exchange and business connectivity, the Chamber continues to contribute to the deepening of economic and trade cooperation between China and Sri Lanka.

Our Purpose

Centered on serving business development, maintaining market integrity, and promoting China–Sri Lanka economic and trade exchanges, the Chamber serves as a bridge between enterprises, facilitates smooth policy communication, deepens corporate cooperation and industrial synergy, and helps foster a well-regulated, orderly, and mutually beneficial business environment.

Our Mission

With a strategic focus as both a bridge and a platform, the Chamber facilitates smooth policy communication, promotes cooperation and industrial connectivity between Chinese and Sri Lankan enterprises, integrates business information and professional resources, improves service mechanisms, strengthens collaboration with relevant institutions in Sri Lanka, and advances high-quality China–Sri Lanka economic and trade cooperation.

Our Vision

We are committed to building the most cohesive, service-oriented, and influential platform for Chinese enterprises in Sri Lanka, and to gradually developing into a key economic and trade hub connecting China and Sri Lanka, while playing a leading and constructive role in regional cooperation across South Asia.

Board Members

CCCSL has a Board of Directors and a Secretariat. The Board serves as the Chamber’s decision-making body and is composed of the President Company, the Secretary-General Company, and the Vice President Companies.

Under the leadership of the Board, the Secretariat is responsible for the Chamber’s daily operations, including member services, information exchange, event organization, and external liaison.
